Outdoor cooking, yum yum!

Botanical Gardens

Gadgets gadgets and more gadgets

Our home for the three days!

Oh, so this is how it is done!

Instructing what to do~~

These are some photos of our school's guides camp on 16-18 November. The first day morning, we reported in school at 7am. It was followed by team bonding activities to let us find our own groups. Then, tent pitching was up next and the secondary ones got their first time to try building an 8-man tent. We managed to put up four 4-man tents and two 8-man tents in our school field. Next up, we did gadgets such as shoe racks to mallet into the grounds, outside each tent. After a yummy lunch, we set off to the Botanical Gardens for more fun. After hours of fun at the Botanical Gardens, we headed back to school. We waited patiently as the Secondary Ones tried to set up the fire for our outdoor cooking. We then got time to wash up and prepare for our movie night! "Flushed Away" was the movie played and we got crackers to enjoy together with the movie. After Day One's tiring activities, we finally had our lights out!

Next day, we woke up at 6am and wash up. We fall in and had our PT (physical training) and it was to run around like napha test but only a few rounds. After that, we did colours at the field in from of our tents. Went to the tower to have our breakfast. Then we prepared for the campfire items. As we finished it early, we played some games in the classroom. About one hour, we had our lunch earlier to prepare for our trip out of our school. We board the buses and head to Kallang for our dragon-boating session. We rowed the dragon boat for about two hours before we went back to school. We ate dinner after that as was given some time to practise our campfire items. Then, we had our campfire with our school's softball team. After the campfire, we washed up and it was time for our lights out again.

Third day of camp was a short one, but it was still one worth remembering. As usual in the morning we woke up, did PT and did colours. We then had a healthy breakfast and were divided into groups for cleaning up. We had our manito gifts given to our manito friends. After that, we broke camp and it's ... Home Sweet Home!!!
