YOG Event: "Can! - We CAN! Create.Action.Now", 1001009

Dear Girl Guides,Posted at: 11:45 PM To show support for the Youth Olympic Games(YOG), there will be a YOG event on 10th Jan 09 called "CAN!" - "We CAN! Create.Action.Now" at SMU Green + University Square. The event is from 2 to 9 pm. The SYOG Logo which will be unveiled at the event and there are a few items which some of you may be interested to participate in: 1. CAN! Run (2010 metres) - Some 2010 youths are invited to participate in this non-competitive run at SMU Green and its vicinity to demonstrate their support for YOG. All runners will receive a CAN! T-shirt and certificate. You are required to fill in a run registration form and a runner's indemnity form. 2. Volunteers as road marshals and cheer leading team to cheer the runners. 3. Sports try-outs like wrestling, handball and even equestrian. 4. Concert - a showcase of youth performing talents in song, music and dance. Those interested in participating in any of the items, please leave a comment with the event number/s as the subject and include your name and email in the space provided.
